Get in touch now to discuss your digital project with us.
Here at COALFACE we’ve had a whirlwind start to 2016. We’ve finished our own brand new website, landed some new awesome contracts and launched some new responsive websites for our clients. And we all had parmos for lunch, more on that later…
Our new site:
Welcome to our brand new, fully responsive website. We’ve updated our projects page to showcase the wide range of work we’ve undertaken for various clients, go check it out here. We’ve also launched a new COALFACE blog – we’re going to be regularly blogging about the latest technology news, ourselves and the newest addition to our blog, SEO. Within the SEO blog you can expect to find case studies of our previous work, like this for instance. As well as keeping you all up to date with the latest news in all things digital marketing. Expect to find tips and tricks for your SEO, PPC or Social Media to increase traffic to your site. If you’re interested in working with us to improve your search traffic, click here to the services we offer.
Sites we’ve launched:
We’ve worked closely with Seven Stories for a number of years, and we recently launched their new fully mobile optimised and responsive site just in time for February half term. Seven Stories is The National Centre for Children’s Books and is well worth a visit if you’re in the North East, check out the new site here: http://www.sevenstories.org.uk/
In January we launched the brand new NE1 Experiences website. NE1 Experiences specialise in providing the ultimate Stag and Hen weekends in Newcastle, check it out here: http://www.ne1experience.co.uk/
The Bronte Museum Site also re-launched recently with a completely refreshed website and has been updated to be a completely responsive site. The Bronte Society is based in Haworth in West Yorkshire and is well worth a day trip too. https://www.bronte.org.uk/
The start of the year has brought some exciting new projects to the COALFACE.
The Piece Hall
The Piece Hall in Halifax is currently under redevelopment and is being transformed into a high quality visitor destination with shops, events and restaurants. We’re currently working on the brand new site, which will feature all of the information any visitor could ever need for a visit there, as well as an e-ticketing system to purchase tickets for events. We’ll be keeping the blog updated with progress on The Piece Hall, but to find out a bit more about it, take a look here: http://www.thepiecehall.co.uk/
Charity Escapes is something we’re really excited about. It’s a brand new take on booking holiday accommodation but with the majority of the fee going to a charity of the accommodation owner’s choice. We’ll be running regular updates on this exciting project on our blog.
We’re currently in the process of redesigning and redeveloping the Alnwick Castle website which we originally developed 4 years ago and currently host, support and maintain. The booking processes are being streamlined and a fancy new design is being created to engage with different audiences. This is going to be a fantastic, engaging and dynamic website with lots of great content so we’re really looking forward to this project developing in the coming months. Here’s the existing website: www.alnwickcastle.com
NEPO is the North East Procurement Organisation. NEPO procures contracts for North East based local authorities and encourages a competitive supply base for public sector contracts. We’re working on a fully responsive re-build of their website and hope to launch in early April. Coming Soon: We’re launching the new Theatre Royal site in March which we’re looking forward to releasing. Keep an eye on our social media for the link when it goes live!
A few weeks ago ParmStar came to the Toffee Factory to bring Middlesbrough’s legendary dish to Newcastle. The majority of the COALFACE office had never heard of this Teesside delicacy, but egged on by SEO specialist and Parmo veteran Tim, they were quickly described as ‘the best food ever’ – thanks ParmStar – please come back soon! Check them out here: http://parmstar.uk/
